Increased American Rescue Plan Act tax creditsIn April, Covered California (CCA) completed the automatic eligibility redetermination process under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP). This redetermination provided increased federal financial assistance for many on-exchange members, including on-exchange members not previously subsidy eligible, who gave their consent for review. CCA provided a notification to consumers regarding their subsidy eligibility. If your client has questions regarding the notification received they should contact CCA. Clients whose household income is below 138% of FPL ($17,775 for individuals and $36,570 for a family of four) may be eligible for Medi-Cal and have been referred to their county by CCA for review.
